ISLAMABAD: Mahnum Kabir, the daughter-in-law of Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaaf leader Shah Mehmood Qureshi and Zain Qureshi’s wife has returned home safely after being allegedly ‘abducted’.
Mahnum Kabir confirmed on social media ‘X’ that she has returned home safely and expressed gratitude to everyone who supported her during this difficult time.
Mehrbano Qureshi also shared a picture of her sister-in-law, confirming her safe arrival and expressing gratitude for the “prayers and support” received.
Agreement reached on judicial reforms
Earlier, Mehrbano Qureshi had reported that her sister-in-law had been abducted by masked individuals. She stated that Zain Qureshi’s wife was taken near her home when two cars blocked her vehicle and forcibly removed her.
The abductors, described as wearing plain clothes and masks, then took her away, she alleged.
Meher Bano condemned that incident, stating that their family has faced numerous threats over the past year and a half but remains resilient. “They have not been able to break us despite all kinds of threats and are now resorting to such low-level tacticts,” she asserted.
Expressing her family’s unwavering faith, she added, “Mine and my family’s faith in Allah is unbreakable. He will see us and Pakistan through this fascism.”
