ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Barrister Gohar Khan has announced the formation of a 19-member central committee to oversee the upcoming PTI’s rally scheduled for July 6 in Islamabad.

Shoaib Shaheen, Ali Bukhari, Khalid Khurshid, and Malik Taimur will handle administrative matters related to the rally.

After failing to obtain a No Objection Certificate (NOC) for the rally, advocates Shoaib Shaheen, Ali Bukhari, and Niazullah Niazi pursued the case in the Islamabad High Court (IHC) to secure necessary permissions.

Following directives from the IHC, discussions between PTI representatives and the district administration led to the selection of Tarnol Chowk as the rally venue. The decision was finalised after consultations with DC Islamabad Irfan Nawaz Memon.
