ANP leader Arbab Ghulam Muhammad shot dead


QUETTA: Prominent leader of the Awami National Party (ANP) Advocate Arbab Ghulam Muhammad was fatally shot by unknown assailants in Kuchlak, a suburb of Quetta.

According to the police, the identities of those responsible for this heinous act remain undisclosed at present, with an active investigation underway to uncover further details.

Meanwhile, ANP leader Asfandyar Wali vehemently condemned the assassination of Arbab Ghulam Muhammad, portraying him as a peaceful and upstanding citizen and a dedicated party member.

Wali noted that this targeted killing of Arbab Ghulam was part of a troubling pattern of terrorism and extremism, reflecting an alarming escalation in such incidents.

He expressed concerns about the increasing incidents of terrorism in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan, highlighting the need for greater attention and measures to address this pressing issue. He said that political workers and leaders are being deliberately targeted, he stressed that this exacerbates an already dire situation.

Wali called for the swift apprehension of the culprits responsible for the murder of Arbab Ghulam and urged a transparent and comprehensive investigation into the incident.
