Bilawal recounts achievements as foreign minister

ISLAMABAD: Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto in his Farwell press conference on Wednesday reflected on his accomplishments during his tenure.

He said when he assumed the role of foreign minister, the foreign ministry was under pressure due to multiple challenges, including FATA grey list.

Furthermore, he also praised Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Hina Rabbani Khar for her active role in Pakistan’s removal from the FATF Grey list.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari expressed happiness over the revival of Pakistan-America bilateral relations. He highlighted his role in reviving relations with friendly nations.

He also extended his gratitude to China, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE, acknowledging their unwavering support during challenging periods.

He expressed his gratitude to the United Nations Secretary-General for the International Conference on Climate Resilient Pakistan, which took place on the 9th of January this year at Palais des Nations in Geneva.

Earlier today, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that despite unprecedented challenges, floods and financial turmoil, the coalition government navigated Pakistan through all crises.

In his farewell address to the federal cabinet, the prime minister said that on April 11, 2022, “our national assembly bestowed its trust upon us, and a coalition government came into existence.”
