Khyber Pakhtunkhwa CM announces nationwide protest by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf
PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has condemned the recent constitutional amendment, calling it an assault on the independence of the judiciary.
He vowed to organise nationwide protests by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), stating that “this time, the entire country will be blocked”.
Gandapur rejected the amendment and announced that people from across Pakistan will join the protests. He warned that party members who supported the amendment will be expelled, emphasising that “cowards have no place in the party.”

He pledged to continue the demonstrations until the current government is removed and the party’s mandate restored.
Gandapur also criticised the current administration, stating that terrorism had been largely eradicated during Imran Khan’s leadership. However, he noted that the security situation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and across Pakistan has deteriorated since the new government took power. He said that this decline is the result of a conspiracy.
