District court grants physical remand of Imran Khan’s sisters

ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad District Court has granted one-day physical remand to Aleema Khan and Uzma Khan, sisters of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) founder Imran Khan. The court has also granted physical remand to Adnan Khan, the brother of PTI leader Asad Qaiser.
The court’s decision was issued by Duty Judge Azhar Nadeem.

The trio were presented before the court, which approved their remand and directed them to appear before the Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) tomorrow. The case registered against Imran’s sisters at Kohsar Police Station involves serious charges, including 16 provisions related to terrorism.
In addition to this, the court ordered the judicial remand of nine other PTI women workers, sending them to jail. Furthermore, 102 PTI workers are to be sent for an identification parade.
