General Elections: PPP delegation to meet ECP at 3pm today

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) delegation will meet with the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) today as part of the ECP’s ongoing consultation with the political parties for the upcoming general elections in the country.

The delegation will include Syed Nayyar Hussain Bokhari, Senator Sherry Rehman, Taj Haider, Syed Naveed Qamar, Murad Ali Shah, Senator Farooq H Naik, and Faisal Karim Kundi.

The delegation is said to share the party’s demand for the elections to be held within 90-day constitutional timeframe. The meeting is scheduled to be held at 3PM today (Tuesday).

The ECP will also consult the delegation on the roadmap for the upcoming elections. ECP has already held meetings in this regard with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, Pakistan Muslim League-N, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam, Muttahida Qaumi Movement–Pakistan, and Jamaat-e-Islami.
