Governor KP calls for resignation of provincial government

PESHAWAR: Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Faisal Karim Kundi strongly criticized the provincial government for its failure to address the worsening law and order situation in the province.
Talking to the media on Thursday, Faisal Karim Kundi demanded that the KP government take responsibility for its poor governance and resign.
Accusing the provincial administration of destroying the province, he said it seems helpless to address the situation in Parachinar.

The governor KP questioned why Ali Amin Gandapur came to Islamabad armed, raising serious concerns over the incident. He also called for the registration of cases regarding the martyrdom of a Rangers personnel in Islamabad.
Highlighting the critical state of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, he asked, “If KP is burning, is Punjab’s border too far?” Kundi accused both federal and provincial governments of showing no interest in restoring peace and order.
He emphasized that ensuring the safety and security of citizens is the government’s primary responsibility, which the current administration has completely failed to fulfill.
