The decision came after a statement made by the government’s legal representative during the hearing.

Justice Miangul Hasan Aurangzeb presided over the case, which sought to prevent Imran Khan’s possible military trial. During the proceedings, Additional Attorney General Manoor Iqbal Dogal clarified to the court that no decision had yet been made regarding the military trial of the former prime minister.

He assured the court that if such a decision were to be taken, it would follow all legal protocols. He further stated that, if the military trial is confirmed, the matter would first be brought before a Civil Magistrate.
