Imran, Bushra appear in Toshakhana II case hearing

RAWALPINDI: Hearing of Toshakhana II case against founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and his wife Bushra Bibi was held in Adiala Jail today. Both the accused were present during the hearing.
During the hearing, presided over by Special Judge Central Shahrukh Arjumand, the statement of Section Officer of Cabinet Division Benjamin was recorded.
Bushra Bibi’s lawyer Arshad Tabrez partially cross-examined the witness. He will continue the cross-examination in the next hearing. Imran Khan’s lawyer Salman Safdar will also cross-examine the witness in the next hearing.
Today, the witness presented a record of 100 newspapers to the court. The witness also presented a list to the court of 108 gifts received by Imran Khan as Prime Minister. Two registers related to the Toshakhana gift record were also presented to the court today, along with the legal procedures of the private appraiser to the court.
A total of three witnesses have testified in the case so far.
PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar, and PTI leaders Salman Akram Raja and Faisal Chaudhry were also present in the court during the hearing.
After the cross-examination, the court adjourned the hearing until January 2.
