Imran Khan faces 54 cases across Pakistan courts: report


Cases against Imran Khan

LAHORE: The report of the cases registered against the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and former premier Imran Khan was submitted in the Lahore High Court (LHC).

Punjab Assistant Advocate General presented the report on behalf of Inspector General Punjab.

The report shows that 54 cases have been registered against Imran Khan. 21 cases have been registered in Lahore, 19 cases have been registered in Rawalpindi division, seven cases in Sheikhupura division, five cases in Faisalabad division, and one case each in Gujranwala and Sargodha divisions.

These include the cases in high courts, sessions courts and accountability courts.

The former premier remains incarcerated in Adiala jail in Rawalpindi. The former first lady Bushra Bibi has also been implicated in cases along with Imran Khan. However, she was released on bail on October 24.
