Imran Khan won’t leave Pakistan after release from jail: Barrister Saif

PESHAWAR: “History is testament to the fact that every leader including Nawaz Sharif, Shahbaz Sharif and Asif Zardari went out [of the country] after making a deal”, said Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Spokesperson Barrister Saif while talking to media, here on Sunday.

“Imran Khan will stay right here after release from jail”, he said, adding that the wife of former premier Bushra Bibi is also still in Pakistan after her release from Adiala Jail.

Imran Khan rubbishes reports of deal with establishment

The spokesperson said that the former PTI chairman will be honorably discharged and continue to live among his own people. “Deal would be done by those who leave the country and the people and settle outside in palaces”, Barrister Saif said.

He said that political leaders “like Sharif and Zardari family have built palaces outside the country after stealing people’s money”. He added that Imran Khan has no palaces outside Pakistan.

PTI spokesperson said that by accusing Imran Khan of making a deal, the “fake government is only offering a stamp of proof of being fake”.
