JUI-F elects new Provincial Emir, General Secretary


Maulana on Madrasah bill

PESHAWAR: The Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-F (JUI-F) in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has successfully completed its intra-party elections, with significant leadership roles being filled for the next five years. Maulana Atta-ur-Rehman has been elected unopposed as the Provincial Emir, while Maulana Atta-ul-Haq has taken on the position of Provincial General Secretary.

The elections, held in Peshawar, were attended by 1,900 members of the party. The members unanimously chose both Maulana Atta-ur-Rehman and Maulana Atta-ul-Haq, showcasing their strong support for the newly elected leaders.

Maulana Atta-ur-Rehman, a senior member of the party and the brother of JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman, brings years of experience to his role as Provincial Emir.

Similarly, Maulana Atta-ul-Haq’s election as Provincial General Secretary highlights his growing influence within the party. His primary role will be managing the party affairs and maintaining coordination across the province.
