List of lawyers for meeting with PTI Chairman submitted in court

ISLAMABAD: The Adiala Jail superintendent has compiled a list of ten lawyers approved by the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman for a scheduled meeting.

The Superintendent of Adiala Jail has formally presented the list of ten lawyers in the Islamabad High Court (IHC) for an authorized meeting with the PTI chairman.

According to the superintendent, the Chairman PTI is set to meet with the ten lawyers in jail on both Tuesday and Thursday.

The list of lawyers comprises prominent legal figures such as Hamid Khan, Salman Akram Raja, Latif Khosa, Barrister Ali Zafar, Shoaib Shaheen, Barrister Gowhar, Burhan Muazzim, Sher Afzal Marwat, Salman Safdar, and Barrister Umair Niazi.

The court noted that “PTI lawyers have expressed their satisfaction over the jail administration’s step.”

The High Court has issued a written order regarding the petition for facilities in the jail.

Furthermore, the court observed, “Jail Superintendent has also stated that he will make a decision if the family submits a request for a bi-weekly meeting in jail.”
