Major shuffles expected in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa cabinet

PESHAWAR: There are reports of potential shuffling and key appointments in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa cabinet, sources said on Tuesday.

Ihtisham Ali is expected to be appointed as Health Advisor, while the current Health Minister Qasim Ali Shah is likely to be transferred from the health portfolio to the Social Welfare Department.
Pir Musawar Ghazi may be named Special Assistant on Climate Change, and Naik Muhammad is expected to be appointed Special Assistant on Relief.
Additionally, Sohail Afridi is likely to become Special Assistant to the Communication and Works (C&W) Department, following the departure of Shakeel Khan.

Sources also indicate that more important changes in the cabinet are anticipated. The approval for these changes and new appointments has reportedly already been secured from former chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan.
