Manika falls ill in Okara Jail

LAHORE: Khawar Manika, former husband of Bushra Bibi, has fallen ill in Okara Jail and the jail doctors have recommended that he be immediately transferred to the Punjab Institute of Cardiology.

A medical report has been submitted to the Lahore High Court for further instructions.

According to the medical report presented in the court, Khawar Manika has been suffering from severe cardiac pain. A consulting cardiologist examined him in the jail, but his ECG report did not yield accurate results.

Manika is currently struggling with high blood pressure, angina, and asthma. Despite his deteriorating health, he has not yet been relocated to the Punjab Institute of Cardiology.

Last month, Manika was arrested by the Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) on corruption charges.
