Maryam Nawaz departs for London

LAHORE: Chief Organiser and Vice President Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Maryam Nawaz has arrived at Allama Iqbal International Airport Lahore to depart for London, as reported by sources.
The sources indicated that Maryam Nawaz is scheduled to meet with PML-N Supremo Nawaz Sharif in London.
Sources further disclosed that Maryam will provide her father with a comprehensive briefing regarding the party’s plans for his welcome in Pakistan. Additionally, they will engage in consultations concerning political and constitutional matters.
Furthermore on Wednesday, while addressing a PML-N Jalsa in Lahore, Maryam said that Nawaz Sharif would return to Pakistan on October 21. “During his tenure, the USD remained stable at PKR 97.98,” she stated.

She further said that Nawaz Sharif had been implicated in various cases, and since his removal from office, the country had not made progress. “When Nawaz Sharif assumed office in 2013, there was a 20-hour load shedding but he ended load shedding during his 4-year term,” she added.
