SIALKOT: Former Defence Minister and leader of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Khawaja Asif said that the arrival of Nawaz Sharif will herald a rescue for the public from challenging times.
Addressing a workers’ convention in Sialkot, Asif said that the 2018 elections witnessed an assault on the voters’ rights, and the removal of Nawaz Sharif from the Prime Minister’s office three times was part of a larger conspiracy.
“Despite injustices and oppression against Nawaz Sharif’s workers, they remained steadfast and loyal. The public will now be rescued from difficult times, and we will embark on a journey towards prosperity,” stated Asif.

Encouraging all workers to gather in Lahore on October 21 for Nawaz Sharif’s reception, Asif envisioned the restoration of Nawaz Sharif’s voting dignity, paving the way for his fourth term as Prime Minister.
Khawaja Asif remarked that the “selected government” installed through unconventional means has been ousted. While acknowledging the current rise in inflation, Asif expressed optimism that improvement would come gradually, particularly with Nawaz Sharif’s return, anticipating positive impacts on the economy.
“Nawaz Sharif eradicated load shedding and terrorism. The journey that has been initiated will continue under the leadership of Nawaz Sharif,” added Asif.
