New federal cabinet members assigned portfolios

ISLAMABAD: The newly appointed members of the federal cabinet have been assigned their ministerial portfolios on Friday.

The federal cabinet had been expanded with the addition of 27 new members, including 13 federal ministers, 11 state ministers, and three advisors.

Following the Prime Minister’s approval, the Cabinet Division has issued an official notification detailing the assignments.

According to the notification, Tariq Fazal Chaudhry has been appointed as the Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, while Ali Pervaiz has been given the Ministry of Petroleum. Hanif Abbasi has been assigned the Ministry of Railways, and Khalid Magsi will head the Ministry of Science and Technology.

Moin Wattoo has been appointed as the Minister for Water Resources, whereas Muhammad Junaid Anwar will oversee the Ministry of Maritime Affairs. Raza Hayat has been given the Ministry of Defense Production, and Shaza Fatima Khawaja will serve as the Minister for Information Technology and Telecommunication.

Sardar Muhammad Yousaf has been appointed as the Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony, while Rana Mubashir Iqbal has been assigned the Ministry of Public Affairs Unit. Mustafa Kamal will oversee the Ministry of National Health Services, Regulations, and Coordination, and Aurangzeb Khan Kachhi has been given charge of the Ministry of National Cultural Heritage, as per the assigned portfolios to the new cabinet members.
