ISLAMABAD: In a press conference held outside the Parliament House, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Barrister Gohar Khan, alongside allies, expressed frustration over parliamentary proceedings.
He criticised the decision to disallow a ‘Point of Order’ during the Assembly session. Responding to Minister for Defence Khawaja Asif’s statement, Gohar Khan said, “I request you to weigh your words carefully. We may sit in the Assembly, but we are not your subordinates.”

Earlier, during the NA proceedings, Khawaja Asif had said, “I implore you that [Khyber Pakhtunkhwa CM] Ali Amin Gandapur is a deceitful person. Do not trust him”.
He also urged Asif to listen to the Assembly discussions instead of ignoring them. Gohar Khan also criticised the handling of the Special Committee’s issues, saying they were not properly raised in Parliament.
The opposition refrained from staging a sit-in or walkout because “we hold back because our ultimate goal is to block your path”, he said.
