ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Accountability Court has revoked the bail of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman in the Al-Qadir Trust and Tosha Khana cases.

The verdict was announced by Judge Muhammad Bashir.

Individuals implicated in the case include former federal overseas minister Zulfiqar Bukhari and former advisor on accountability, Shehzad Akbar.

The allegations revolve around a piece of land allotted for Al Qadir Trust University, purportedly in exchange for returning £190 million into account of real estate tycoon, Malik Riaz instead of the exchequer. The money was previously seized by British authorities.

The former prime minister is now set to face charges in both cases.
