ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Information Atta Tarar accusing the Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaaf (PTI) of sowing seeds of hatred in national politics has said that the party is working on foreign agenda against the country and its armed forces.
In a presser on Tuesday, Tarar accusing the party of internal division and chaos said, “The seeds of hatred sown by PTI in the country’s politics are now bearing fruit”.
Condemning the harassment of journalists, he said that the government is taking concrete steps to protect media professionals.
Tarar criticized the PTI, alleging that its leadership has fled the scene while targeting journalists. He confirmed that the Interior Ministry will collaborate with authorities to take decisive action against such incidents.
He reiterated his earlier claims that PTI cannot compete in fair political grounds, referencing their “final call” strategy as an escape route.

Tarar also criticized PTI’s absence from the recent All Parties Conference (APC) on Palestine, claiming it reflects the party’s lack of commitment to national unity.
Commenting on PTI’s political approach, Tarar alleged that its founder introduced a culture of divisive politics and said some members of PTI in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa opposed the call for civil disobedience, terming it inappropriate.
Tarar further accused PTI of aligning with foreign agendas against Pakistan and its armed forces. “It’s evident that a nation with a strong military is also a strong country,” he emphasized. He also condemned PTI’s campaign to boycott Pakistani products, calling it regretful.
The minister noted that the government has successfully registered 18,000 madrassas, highlighting it as a step towards improved governance and accountability.
