PTI protest delays hearings against Imran, Bushra

ISLAMABAD: The hearing on £190 million reference against former premier and founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and former first lady Bushra Bibi was postponed without any proceedings.
The hearing, was presided over by Accountability Court Judge Nasir Javed Rana at the Judicial Complex in Islamabad. The court adjourned the hearing without any action due to road closures caused by PTI’s protest.
The case will now be heard on November 28.
Meanwhile, another hearing at the Judicial Complex Islamabad pertaining to Toshakhana-II case against Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi was also postponed without any proceedings.
Special Judge Central Shahrukh Arjumand presided over that case and adjourned the hearing until November 29.
PTI PROTEST
PTI leaders and activists are currently marching towards D Chowk in Islamabad. The federal capital is under heavily deployment of police, Frontier Constabulary (FC) and Rangers.
In multiple clashes across the country, so far, three Rangers officers have already been martyred with many more injured. There are also reports of tear gas shelling on the protestors at multiple locations in Islamabad.
The opposition party has announced to continue the protest and a sit-in until Imran Khan is released from Adiala jail and the 26th constitutional amendment is repealed.
