PTI moves court for rally in Islamabad on March 30

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) has approached the Islamabad High Court for permission to hold a rally in the federal capital.

PTI’s Aamir Mughal filed an application in the Islamabad High Court through lawyer Sher Afzal Marwat for permission to hold a rally in Islamabad.

Secretary Interior, Chief Commissioner Islamabad and IG Islamabad have been made parties in the petition.

The petition requests the court to order the concerned parties to permit PTI to conduct a rally at Parade Ground, F9 Park, or D Chowk in Islamabad on March 30 at 10 pm.

In the petition, the stand was adopted that the court should issue orders to the parties to not block the roads on the day of the rally, and not to resort to violent action against the participants.
