PTI deploys state resources for its protest rally once again

Bushra Bibi, wife of former PTI chairman Imran Khan, had issued a video message in which she made some comments on Imran Khan’s visit to Saudi Arabia where we walked barefoot in Madinah. She said that there was backlash on this gesture of Imran Khan. Multiple party leaders and political analysts labelled Bushra Bibi’s statement as harmful to the party’s political strength and criticized the implied negativity against Saudi Arabia.

Speaking on the statement and the reactions, Barrister Saif said that Bushra Bibi’s words are being “taken out of context”. He said, “Bushra Bibi has not made any accusations against Saudi Arabia or Mohammad Bin Salman”.

The spokesperson said that Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Salman and Imran Khan have exemplary relations, “and the fake government is trying to harm them”.

He said that acting just out of spite for Imran Khan, the government is not even considering the relations of the two countries. He said that the government is harming Pakistanis working in Saudi Arabia by misconstruing the statements.

“Bushra Bibi’s statement are also being exaggerated to divert attention from the protest,” Barrister Saif said, while appealing to the public “not to listen to the baseless propaganda of the fake government and to prepare for the protest.”
