PTI’s MNA passes away; district bar association announces day of mourning

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) Member of the National Assembly (MNA) from Constituency NA-171 of Rahim Yar Khan, Mumtaz Mustafa has passed away due to a heart attack.

The departed MNA was also a prominent jurist. Mustafa, known for his legal acumen and dedication to public service, succumbed to his heart condition in Islamabad on Monday. The family of the late MNA confirmed that Mustafa had been suffering from heart disease.

His body is being transferred from Islamabad to Rahim Yar Khan, where he will be laid to rest.

In honour of Mustafa’s contributions to the legal field, the District Bar Association of Rahim Yar Khan has announced a “Day of Mourning.” This marks a significant loss for both the legal community and his constituents, who valued his service and dedication.
