Shah Farman resigns as senior advisor to KP Chief Minister

PESHAWAR: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) leader and former governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), Shah Farman has stepped down from his position as senior advisor to the KP Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur.
Farman announced his resignation, expressing gratitude to the CM Gandapur for the opportunity to serve in the role.

Following his resignation, Farman stated that as a member of the accountability committee formed by former PTI chairman Imran Khan, his primary responsibility is to oversee the performance of the provincial government. He explained that continuing in the advisory role could conflict with these duties.
Farman emphasised his commitment to upholding transparency and merit in government operations, adding that he will continue to support the Chief Minister in addressing any complaints regarding governance, merit violations, or corruption.
