Four individuals have provided their testimonies in the ongoing legal proceedings related to the alleged illicit marriage involving former Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman and ex-prime minister Imran Khan and his spouse Bushra Bibi.
The hearing, presided over by Islamabad Civil Judge Qudratullah, has been postponed until November 8.

During the Tuesday session, Rizwan Abbasi, the petitioner’s attorney, and witnesses were present in court. Testimonies from the case witness and Muhammad Latif, the domestic servant of Khawar Manika, were recorded.
Subsequently, statements from four additional witnesses were also documented.
The court, after obtaining arguments on the case’s merits, decided to adjourn further proceedings until December 8. The petitioner’s legal representatives are scheduled to present arguments regarding the admissibility of the case in the upcoming hearing on Friday.
Meanwhile, PTI leader Hamid Khan, spoke to media on the statements made by Khawar Maneka and his servant. He said, “If Maneka’s own remarks hold no significance, then what is the value of the words of his servant?”
Regarding the PTI’s intra-party elections, Khan clarified that these elections are not contingent on any external factors. He compared the PTI’s internal electoral process to that of other political parties, noting that officials in parties such as the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), and Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) have also been elected unopposed.

Khan questioned the rationale behind the objections raised against PTI’s intra-party elections. In a pointed remark, he stated that while the PML-N has complained about not receiving a level playing field in the 2018 general elections, PTI’s situation was even more challenging. “PTI was not provided with a ‘field’ at all,” he added.
