PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi has said that ideological differences exist but when it comes to peace, the government stands united.
Kundi made these statements while addressing a Jirga in Kohat, on Sunday. “Everyone has to play their role for peace,” the governor said, adding, “I am grateful to all the leaders and elders who came to the Jirga.”

The governor said that an all-party conference has been called for December 5, where the situation in Kurram will also be discussed.
“The first solution to any problem is negotiations,” Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor said. He added, “We share the grief of the families of the people that have been killed in Kurram.”
He said that anti-national elements are sabotaging peace and order in the Kurram area by creating misunderstandings between the two parties. “A temporary ceasefire has been declared between the two parties in Kurram district, and the government will soon present a peace formula for a permanent solution, which will be acceptable to both parties,” the governor assured.
Along with the provincial government, the federal government will also use all its resources, the governor added.
