Pride of KP Awards to Honor 12 Trailblazers at the 5th Metrix Pakistan Youth Summit

Metrix Pakistan , Directorate of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and the University of Malakand are proud to announce the recipients of the prestigious Pride of KP Awards.The award distribution ceremony will take place on October 10, 2024, as part of the 5th Metrix Pakistan Youth Summit, the largest gathering of youth in the history of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.

Pride of KP awards is bestowed on 12 remarkable persons who have served their communities and fields in an impactful manner. These awards appreciate and encourage the people who have excelled in different spheres like charity work, environmental protection, sports, technology, and community development. The award distribution event will take place in the University of Malakand and these awards will acknowledge the endeavours done towards the betterment of the society in the whole of KP.

Award Recipients: Muhammad Ali Swati (Pakistani Rescuer & Philanthropist), Muhammad Tawseef Khan (Climate Change Activist) , Ammad Ali (Entrepreneur & Philanthropist) , Ayesha Ayaz (Taekwondo Champion), Muhammad Irfan (Social Worker), Qaiser Nawab (Global Youth Leader & Climate Activist), Muhammad Adil Khan (Social Entrepreneur & Community Leader), Adnan Khan (Journalist), Noorena Shams (Squash Player), Raja Ahmed (Technology Strategist & Entrepreneur), Muddassir Shaffique (Telecom and IT Solution Specialist), Sumera Shams (Politician & Social Worker).

Now in its 5th edition, the Metrix Pakistan Youth Summit has established itself as one of the prime avenues for youth participation in KP. This flagship event will host over 30 national and international companies, speakers, and innovators. There will also be an expo on technological, educational, and entrepreneurial advancement allowing the participants to interact with the relevant experts and leaders.

Hassan Nisar, the Chief Executive Officer of Metrix Pakistan said he is honoured to hold such a historic event and said the following: “This ceremony will pay tribute to the real asset of KP. Efforts and performances of the brilliant minds who are catalysing growth in our province are recognized through organising events of this nature as KP is changing quite fast. The future is technology. At Metrix Pakistan Youth Summit, we are advocating for IT and technology. This will be the largest of its kind, and it showcases the changing times in KP.”

The participants at the summit would also get to listen to national and international speakers who will conduct workshops aimed at equipping the young people with skills that are relevant in the current global landscape.

The Metrix Pakistan Youth Summit stands as a first-of-its-kind initiative focused solely on empowering the youth, fostering creativity and promoting social causes. The magnitude and impact of the summit increases at every summit providing the young people from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the rest of the country with learning, networking, and showcasing their talents.
