All cricket academies now open to young players, announces Mohsin Naqvi

LAHORE: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi has decided to give young players access to all cricket academies.

PCB Chairman Naqvi met with the players who performed well in domestic cricket. He discussed cricketing skills and performances with the players. During the meeting, issues related to diet plans, fitness and training were also discussed.

The players briefed the PCB Chairman on matters related to training, fitness and other issues at the High Performance Center.

PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi encouraged the players and issued instructions to the relevant authorities to solve the problems highlighted by the players. He also issued directives for preparation of a ‘special diet plan for fitness’ for the players.

On this occasion, Naqvi also announced the decision to give young players access to all cricket academies. Speaking to the athletes, he said, “You are the future stars of Pakistan. The availability of trainers will be ensured for the physical training of the players.”

He added that providing resources for the players is the investment into a bright future of Pakistan cricket.
