Asia Cup 2023: Toss goes to Bangladesh, Match goes to…

LAHORE: Bangladesh won the toss and elected to bat first against Pakistan. This is the first clash of the Super 4 stage of Asia Cup 2023 for both the teams.

The match is being played between Babar Azam’s 11 and Shakib Al Hasan’s 11 at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.

Bangladesh’s captain said that their team will give best performance against ‘number one’ team. “We will try to give a good target”. Pakistan’s skipper said that maintaining the winning streak is the team’s aim for today.

Muhammad Nawaz has been replaced by Faheem Ashraf for today’s match. Other than that, Fakhar Zaman, Imam-ul-Haq, Babar Azam(c), Salman Ali Agha, Iftikhar Ahmed, Mohammad Rizwan(wk), Shadab Khan(vc), Naseem Shah, Shaheen Afridi, and Haris Rauf will take charge from Pakistan today.
