Bangladesh victorious in first test match against Pakistan

RAWALPINDI: Bangladesh achieved historic victory against Pakistan after successfully chasing the total target of 30 runs without losing any wicket. Pakistan’s entire team went back to pavilion after scoring 146 runs in the second innings.
This is the first time that Bangladesh has defeated Pakistan in a test match.
Destructive bowling of the Bangladeshi spinners did not allow the Pakistani batsmen to stay on the crease for long.
Mushfiqur hits 191 for Bangladesh in first innings
Mehdi Hassan took four wickets while Shakib Al Hasan dismissed three players.
Muhammad Rizwan was the only player to have shown some effort in the second innings of the ongoing test match, with 51 runs. Seven players could not even enter double digits scores.
Captain Shaan Masood got out after scoring 14 runs, Abdullah Shafiq scored 37, Babar Azam 22, and Khurram Shahzad scored only 5 runs.
Yesterday, Mushfiqur Rahim fell short of a double hundred with 191 runs. Bangladesh racked up 565 all out in reply to Pakistan’s first innings total of 448-6 declared on day four of the opening test in Rawalpindi.
Pakistan had declared the first innings after 448 runs for the loss of 6 wickets. In response, Bangladesh had scored 565 runs in their first innings.
