Bangladesh XI began their innings by sending Fargana Hoque and Rubya Haider in the opening. Both established 55-run total, each helped the team for 30 and 25 runs respectively. However, after managing 55 runs in total, both were downed by Nonkululeko Mlaba and Chloe Tryon each respectively.

Sharmin Akhtar and skipper Nigar Sultana stepped in to support the lead for a better increase at the crease. Sharmin contributed a 77-ball 50 runs which went amazing as she played well for Bangladesh side. But skipper Nigar managed only a 42-deliveries 32 runs before before being downed by Nonkululeko Mlaba, who has also claimed down the first-in of the Bangladesh XI.

Middle order went remarkable as Shorna Akter played havoc, contributing unbeaten 51 off 35 balls. However, Ritu Moni was the only lower order player who came in, providing a supportive 19-run stay at the crease. But Sobhana Mostary and Rabeya Khatun were unable to jerk the total to make a significant contribution. The former was downed while taking a run and the latter went for a duck as Nadine de Klerk give her a tougher momentum at the crease.

Finally, the Bangladesh XI were able to register 216 runs in 50 overs. However, thanks to the 16 extras conceded by the bowlers of the opponents, increasing the team’s total up to 232 for six wickets.
