Champions Cup: Markhor defeats Panther Zico by 160 runs

FAISALABAD: Markhor emerged victorious against Panther Zico as the former thrashed the latter by 160 runs in the Champions Cup clash.
Markhor channeled its inner beast and set an imposing target of 347 runs for the rivals.

Kamran Ghulam was the star of the show for Markhors, scoring 115 runs. He received solid support from Abdul Sarmad, who also contributed 62 runs, and Iftikhar Ahmed, who finished not out with 57 runs.
For the Panthers, bowlers Muhammad Hasnain and Rambashir Khan each took two wickets, in a deprate attempt to limit Markhor’s bowling.
When it was their turn with the bat, the Panthers struggled. They only managed to score 187 runs before all out.

Imad Butt stood out with 72 runs in a challenging innings but that was the only commendable performance from then Panther’s batters.
Meanwhile, the Markhor’s bowling lineup was led by Naseem Shah and Dakif Javed. The duo took three wickets each.

Similarly, Shahnawaz Dhani dismissed two Panther batters.
