England cricket team lands in Pakistan for test series

MULTAN: The England cricket team arrived in Pakistan to play a highly awaited Test series against their hosts late on Tuesday.
The English team landed at the Multan International Airport and will have two days rest before starting their practice sessions on Friday.

The English cricket team is led by all-rounder and captain Ben Stokes, with the first Test match between them and Pakistan scheduled to be played at the Multan Cricket Stadium from October 7.
This will be followed by a second Test, which will be held in Multan, as well, on October 15.
The third and final Test of the series will be played in Rawalpindi on October 24.

The England team’s visit to Pakistan marks the firs time they have played a Test series in the country since 2005. The series is expected to be a closely contested affair, with both teams looking to gain an advantage in the World Test Championship.
The England team included several experienced players, as well as promising young talents. The tea-drinkers will be hoping to put on a strong performance and secure a series victory against the Men in Green.
Meanwhile, the Pakistani team is determined to defend their home turf and secure a series win after an entire year of dismal performance.

Cricket fans in Pakistan are happy to finally get the chance to watch international matches in their own country after nearly two-decades of security issues preventing it.
