Multan test: PCB chairman applauds team’s brilliant performance

LAHORE: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi has lauded the national team for their stellar victory in the Multan Test. In his congratulatory remarks, Naqvi highlighted the remarkable contributions of Sajid Khan and Noman Ali, who bowled brilliantly to play a pivotal role in securing the win.
Pakistan win second test by 152 runs as Noman Ali takes eight
Sajid and Noman bowled out the English team in both innings, with Noman taking 11 wickets and the remaining 9 falling to Sajid. Innings-wise, Sajid dominated the first innings with Noman picking up the mantle in the second innings.
Naqvi also praised Kamran Ghulam for his standout performance, noting the batsman’s century in the first match as a clear demonstration of his immense talent. “Kamran Ghulam has already shown his skills by scoring a century in the first match,” he said.
PCB Chairman was particularly pleased with the performance of the new players in the squad. “The new players in the team proved their selection right,” Naqvi said, expressing satisfaction with how the fresh talent contributed to the victory.
Pakistan all out for 221 in second innings
Looking ahead, Naqvi expressed optimism for the final Test against England, confident that the team will carry forward their momentum. “It is hoped that the team will perform well in the last Test match against England as well,” he said, while encouraging the squad to finish the series on a high note.
