BRIDGETOWN: The T20 World Cup clash between Oman and Namibia ended in a thrilling tie, necessitating a Super Over to determine the winner.

Oman, batting first, set a modest target of 110 runs, largely thanks to Khalid Keel’s crucial 34-run contribution. Despite the relatively low target, Namibia’s bowlers, particularly Rubin and David Wiese, showcased exceptional performances. Rubin took 4 wickets while Wiese claimed 3, keeping Oman’s batting lineup under control.

Namibia’s chase was equally dramatic. Despite the efforts of Oman’s bowlers to restrict their progress, Namibia managed to level the scores, pushing the game into a Super Over. Namibia set Oman a target of 22 runs in the Super Over. In pursuit of this target, the Oman team managed to score only 10 runs.
