KANDY: The thrilling match of Asia Cup 2023 between Pakistan and India at Pallakelle Stadium has been called off due to rain.

Match Report:

Pakistan bowled out India for 266 runs in the 49th over.

Naseem Shah and Shaheen Afridi collectively secured seven wickets, while India’s standout performers were Ishan Kishan with 82 runs and Hardik Pandya with 87 runs.

Naseem Shah took the eighth wicket for Pakistan, dismissing Shardul Thakur.

Shaheen Shah’s wickets: 

Shaheen Shah claimed two wickets in the same over, sending Hardik Pandya and Jadeja back to the pavilion.

Haris Rauf’s wickets: 

Haris Rauf took his fifth wicket for Pakistan, dismissing Ishan Kishan.

When the match resumed after rain, Haris claimed Shubman Gill’s crucial wicket on the fourth ball of the over.

Haris took his first wicket of the match by dismissing Shreyas Iyer.
