Pak vs Ban T20I: Tourist team crushed for 110 in first Bangladesh match

DHAKA: Pakistan hardly scored 110 in the first Bangladesh T20 International, with the tourist team front-led batter Fakhar Zaman remaining top scorer at 44.

Soon after Pakistan sent to bat first, it could hardly give hopes of scoring high as opener Saim Ayub dismissed just for six runs at Shere Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur today (Sunday).

Mohammad Haris, the tourist team’s wicketkeeping batter, joined the opening partner Fakhar Zaman, however, scored just four runs before dismissal in the first T20I against Bangladesh.

Captain Salman Agha, who arrived at crease after the fall of Haris, also downed by Tanzim Hassan Shakib just for three, with Mohammad Nawaz crushed by Mustafizur Rahman for a duck.

The tourists sank further in the first Pakistan Vs Bangladesh T20I when Mohammad Nawaz (3) fell short of his crease in the eighth over, leaving Pakistan at 46/5 in 7.4 overs.

Bangladesh send Pakistan in to bat in first T20

Khushdil Shah and Abbas Afridi, during their stay on pitch, hardly stitched a 33-run partnership against the rival team, leading their side to 103 in 16.1 overs. Shah fell to Mustafizur Rahman soon after scoring 17 runs, leaving Pakistan at 103/7 in 16.2 overs.

All-rounder Faheem Ashraf also fell to Taskin Ahmed after scoring five, with Salman Mirza running out for a duck.

Afridi (22) was the last batter to fall, with his side wrapping the inning at 110 in 19.3 overs in the first Pakistan vs Bangladesh T20I.

From the rival side, Taskin took three wickets, Mustafizur downed a couple, while Mahedi Hasan and Shakib bagged a wicket each.
