Pakistan perfect through three matches at U18 Men’s Asia Cup 2025

DAZHOU: Pakistan continued their dominance at the U18 Men’s Asia Cup, winning their thid match against Bangladesh on Tuesday.
Previously, the men in green had already triumphed over Hong Kong and Sri Lanka, beating the two teams 8-0 and 9-0, respecitvely.
The clash against Bangladesh was the toughest test for Pakistan yet, as the two teams were tied 3-3 by halftime. However, Pakistan took charge in the second half, scoring three more goals before the final whistle.

The game ended 6-3 in Pakistan’s favour, with Abdullah Awan and Hanzala Ali scoring two goals each, and Atif Ali and Asim adding two more.
Pakistan currentyl sits at the top of Group A with nine points. Bangaldesh, who have also won all three matches, sits right beneath Pakistan due to a lower point difference. Pakistan has scored 23 goals thus far in the tournament, while only condeding three.
China sit in third place after beating Sri Lanka and Hong Kong, but falling short against Bangladesh. Beneath them sit Hong Kong in fifth, and Sri Lanka in sixth, both of whom have lost each of their three matches.
Pakistan will now face China tomorrow, July 9.
