Pakistan Women’s Cricket Team announces 2025-26 schedule

LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has released the calendar for the 2025-26 women’s cricket season. The schedule includes bilateral series, World Cup events, youth tours, and domestic competitions.
The national women’s team will begin the season with a tour of Ireland in August 2025, where they will play three T20 Internationals. In September, they will host South Africa for a three-match ODI series in Lahore from September 16 to 22.
The ICC Women’s World Cup will take place from September 30 to November 2. Pakistan’s matches will be held in Sri Lanka.
Pakistan beat India to reach Asian U-16 volleyball final
Pakistan will tour South Africa from February 7 to March 2, 2026. The tour includes three ODIs and three T20Is. In April 2026, Zimbabwe’s women’s team will visit Pakistan for three ODIs and three T20Is, to be played from April 24 to May 11.
Before the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup in England from June 12 to July 5, 2026, Pakistan will participate in a tri-nation T20 series in Ireland. West Indies will also take part in the tournament.
The Pakistan Under-19 women’s team will tour Bangladesh in December 2025 for five T20 matches.
Domestically, the National Women’s One-Day Tournament will take place in Karachi from November 6 to 24, 2025. The National Women’s T20 Tournament will also be held in Karachi, running from March 24 to April 17, 2026. Both competitions will follow a double league format.
Pakistan T20 squad sets off on Bangladesh tour
The Women’s Under-19 T20 Tournament is scheduled in Karachi from September 15 to October 6, 2025. A women’s inter-university cricket tournament will also be held in October.
Head of Women’s Cricket Rafia Haider said the season presents multiple opportunities for players to gain experience. She highlighted the importance of the Under-19 tournament and the Bangladesh tour for youth development. Haider also noted that two major ICC events in the season make it a significant phase for women’s cricket. Discussions are ongoing regarding the introduction of departmental tournaments.
