LAHORE: Pakistan women’s football team has climbed three places, rising from 157th to 154th in the global standings, in the latest Women’s World Rankings released by FIFA.

Their improved performance has also boosted their rating points from 950 to 1007, signaling steady progress for the team on the international stage.

Meanwhile, at the top of the table, Spain has taken over the No. 1 spot, pushing the United States down to second place. Sweden also made a significant leap, jumping three places to land in third, while England inched up one spot to fourth.

The updated rankings reflect the shifting dynamics in women’s football, with emerging teams like Pakistan showing promise and traditional powerhouses continuing to battle for dominance at the summit.
