ALBERT PARK: Pakistani squash players displayed their prowess on the international stage as they clinched multiple gold medals at the Australian Junior Open Squash Championship. Among the standout performances was Hazifa Shahid’s victory in the U-13 Men’s Junior Open category, where he proudly raised the green crescent flag of Pakistan on Australian soil.

Hazifa Shahid’s achievement was complemented by Mahnoor Ali’s triumph in the U-13 category, further solidifying Pakistan’s dominance in junior squash. Adding to the tally of gold medals, Yahya Khan emerged victorious in the U-15 Men’s division, showcasing Pakistan’s depth of talent across different age groups.

The success story continued as Ibrahim Zeb claimed the gold medal in the Men’s Under-17 category, while the Women’s title was secured by another Pakistani player, highlighting the remarkable performance of the nation’s squash contingent at the prestigious championship.
