Pakistan’s ODI squad for Australia tour

LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has unveiled Pakistan’s squad for the upcoming tour of Australia.
Along with former skipper Babar Azam, key players Naseem Shah and Shaheen Shah Afridi, have been included in the One Day International (ODI) squad for the Australian tour.
The chosen 15-member squad presents a blend of experience and emerging talent. With Aamir Jamal, Abdullah Shafiq, and Arafat Minhas, are included with expectations of fresh-blood performances.
According to PCB’s latest release Faisal Akram, Haris Rauf, Haseebullah and Kamran Ghulam have been included in the ODI squad. Other players to play against Australia are Muhammad Hasnain, Mohammad Rizwan, Muhammad Irfan Khan, Naseem Shah, Saim Ayub, Salman Ali Agha and Shaheen Shah Afridi.
Fast bowlers Naseem and Shaheen are deemed essential for a good bowling performance on Australian pitches. Meanwhile, Rauf and Rizwan have already proven themselves on the host country’s fields and are likely to keep the team’s performance high this time as well.
