During the England-Afghanistan cricket match, at Gaddafi Stadium Lahore, Obaiduallah from Lahore had jumped over the fence of Fazal Mahmood Enclosure, into the field.
Unless he spills the beans himself, one could only assume, that Obaidullah could not resist the temptation to look at his favorite players closely. Or perhaps he was in a passion-fueled rage to get some attention from the cameras – to raise awareness about a sensitive issue, who knows?
In either case, the jump has cost the young sport fan heavily as he has been barred from entry in the cricket stadium. He was arrested moments after his feat, when the Gulberg Police officers on the spot, deployed for security, nabbed him as he tried to jump.
A case has been registered against the cricket spectator named Obaidullah Khan, the police officers told media on Thursday. The police said that this action constitutes as a violation of security standard operating procedures (SOPs) and also counts as interference in the functions of the government.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has banned Obaidullah from watching any future matches in the stadium. A similar incident had also taken place earlier at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
