PCB announces Pakistan’s squad for first ODI against Australia

LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has unveiled Pakistan’s squad for the first One Day International (ODI) contest between Pakistan and Australia.
Muhammad Rizwan will lead the playing 11, which include former skipper Babar Azam, Abdullah Shafiq, and Saim Ayub.
Key players Naseem Shah and Shaheen Shah Afridi, have been included in the first ODI as well, along with Haris Rauf and Muhammad Hasnain.
Kamran Ghulam, Salman Ali Agha, and Mohammad Irfan Khan will also represent Pakistan in this first game against the Australians.
Fast bowlers Naseem and Shaheen are deemed essential for a good bowling performance on Australian pitches. Meanwhile, Rauf and Rizwan have already proven themselves on the host country’s fields and are likely to keep the team’s performance high this time as well.
The match will be played tomorrow evening at Melbourne at 8:00 PM according to Pakistan time.
