PCB chairman orders to send Saim Ayub to London for treatment

LAHORE: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi has decided to send Saim Ayub to London for immediate treatment.

The PCB chairman reportedly took this decision after consulting doctors. Naqvi also personally reached out to Saim Ayub in this regard. He inquired about the cricketer’s well-being and expressed his best wishes for Saim Ayub’s recovery.

The sports orthopaedic specialists in London will check up on Saim Ayub, PCB Chairman said while issuing orders to send the sportsman to England. “Saim Ayub has an appointment with London’s Sports Orthopaedic specialists,” he confirmed.

As of now, Dr Mamrez in Pakistan is looking into all the treatment cases of Saim Ayub. He has also shared all medical reports of the cricketer with the specialists in London.

Mohsin Naqvi said, “Saim Ayub is a stylish, powerful batsman and an asset for Pakistan cricket.” The PCB Chairman said that he is concerned about Saim Ayub’s injury. He will be sent to London from Cape Town on the first available flight, Naqvi added.

Stunt coach Azhar Mahmood will also accompany Saim Ayub to London.

The athlete will be examined and treated in the best hospital in the world, Naqvi assured, adding, “All resources will be used for Saim Ayub’s treatment.”

“It is hoped that Saim Ayub will fully recover before the Champions Trophy,” PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi said.
