Peshawar Zalmi unveils energetic anthem for PSL 9

PESHAWAR: Peshawar Zalmi, one of the franchise teams in the Pakistan Super League (PSL), launched its highly anticipated anthem for the ninth season of the PSL.

The anthem debuted in the early hours of Saturday, hitting the team’s official YouTube page with over 30,000 views within a few hours of release.

The song boasts powerful vocals of Nehaal Naseem, Zahoor, and Abdullah Siddiqui, who also composed the song alongside Zahoor and Asfandyar Asad. Siddiqui showcased his talent by also producing the song.

Directed by Hassan Dawar, the accompanying music video opens with a view of a cassette tape case adorned with the word ‘Zalmi’.

The music video alternates between shots of the official Peshawar Zalmi team and captivating scenes featuring Hania Aamir and the singers, making the anthem a vibrant and visually stunning viewing.

The colourful visuals complement the upbeat tempo of the anthem creating an infectious and captivating experience for the fans.

The ninth season of the PSL is scheduled to run from February 17 to 18 March across different cities of Pakistan. The first match will be played on February 17 (today) between Lahore Qalandars and Islamabad United at 8 pm.

Meanwhile, Peshawar Zalmi will faceoff against Quetta Gladiators on February 18 (tomorrow) at 2 pm in the Gaddafi Stadium
