LAHORE: The marriage events of Imam-ul-Haq – Anmol Mehmood officially commenced with a qawwali night on Thursday evening.

The 27-year-old cricketer is all set to marry Anmol Mehmood, his betrothed from Norway, who recently gained attention after a mehndi event in Scandinavia.

Pictures and videos from the Imam-ul-Haq Anmol Mehmood qawwali night quickly went viral on social media, showcasing the presence of former Pakistan skipper Babar Azam, Imam’s best friend.

Other notable guests included Pakistani cricketers Usman Qadir, Sarfaraz Ahmed, Kamran Akmal, and former chief selector Inzamam-ul-Haq.

The event appeared to have a black and grey theme, with the couple donning matching attire. Imam wore a black chikankari kurta adorned with mirrors, while Anmol donned a silver-grey bridal gown embellished with fancy embroidery in the same color.

Anmol complemented her dress with soft curls, minimal jewelry, and a subtle glam makeup look. Notably, the cricketers attending the event also adhered to the black and grey theme for their dressing.
